After 10 hours in recovery, Lindsay is finally in a private room where she'll continue her recovery.
They had 7 discharges on the orthopedic floor yesterday, so it took time to get her private room ready (how it took that much time we'll never know). Just when they were getting ready to move her, they said we had to wait because she couldn't feel her feet.
It was a reaction to the epidural. So they took her off it and gave her different pain meds until she could feel her feet. Her sensation slowly came back over the course of 2 hours. Finally, at almost 11pm she made it up to her private room where she could sleep.

The only issue in the night was a drop in blood pressure, but that subsided and she slept well (as well as you can through constant checking every hour).
Now on to day 2: getting on different pain meds (the new stuff isn't working well) and physical therapy.
